Welcome to my blog!

Hello! My name is Kim. I created this blog as a place for me to compile all of my, well, everything. I have been trying to separate "work" and "personal" in the blogging world for way too long. So here at tickledpink studios, you will be sure to find a little bit of everything. The reason I picked up my first "real" camera to begin with was so I could learn to capture the moments in my every day life that, unfortunately will not last forever. You will mostly see pictures on this blog, but don't be surprised if you happen upon some fun adventures, family journaling, graphic design, crafting, cooking, baking, organizing, chaos, funny kid quotes, and anything else I feel like doing, saying or creating at the moment. Years from now, I hope to look back and be "tickled pink" because I did such a good job documenting the things in my life that make me enjoy it.

Faye’s Blessing dress

Sooo. Per the request of many, I am posting some pictures of Faye’s blessing dress that I “semi-made”.. The bottom part of her dress was a skirt that I took in and then I added a thick ribbon for the bust-line and another ribbon for the sleeves.. I was quite proud of myself. This was my first button ever.The lace on her headband is leftovers from the original skirt. And I have no clue where I got the bloomers. Love them though!I had a little cardigan for backup incase this didn’t work out, but I’m glad to say we didn’t even need it! Total price=<$10.00

{OH! And don’t look too closely, I am definitely not a perfectionist when it comes to sewing..}

I love these pictures! Looks like it was a good day. I want to just gobble up those sweet little thighs. Her skin is like porcelain and I can’t get over her big beautiful pleasant eyes. Love her bath picture. You look great and I can’t get over how big your family is getting. I miss you guys and love you so much! Thanks for pictures!

Trip to the San Francisico Zoo

It’s been fun recently to get my camera out again and take pictures. I really enjoy the creative outlet it allows me to incorporate into my every day life. I have learned that I need to just let the pictures happen instead of forcing it. Especially with my own kids. My favorite shots are when they aren’t thinking about me or the camera anyway. Who knows, I just can’t help myself and will probably do a formal session anyway.. Enough said. We had a great day at the San Francisco Zoo. It was a little chilly, but sunny so that made up for it. Hudson talks about the San Diego Zoo almost daily, which there is no substitute for–but we decided Lola would enjoy the San Francisco Zoo anyway. We all did. I still can’t believe she is 2..
